Front office Lab trains the students for areas like Reservations, Bill Services, Guest Management, Relationship Management, Travel Services, Concierge Services, Addressing Guest issues and complaints, Telephone handling skills, Marketing and development of their personality for superlative services in Hospitality Industry (Hotels, Restaurants, Air lines, Cruise Liners, Tourism, Public Relations & Marketing, Retail Sector).

Cleanliness is next to godliness

In Housekeeping lab students learn the role of maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in commercial establishments like Hotel, Resorts, Theme park, Airports, Commercial Offices. They also learn the softer aspects like Flower arrangement, Gardening, Decor, Interior, Planning and Layout of hotels and facilities. At the same time they are also learning use of commercial cleaning equipment and tool, Chemicals etc. The higher aspects like operation, budgeting, staffing, laundry operations are also taught to students.

Sharp College Of Hotel & Tourism Management is a place where students get hands on training with handling F&B (Food & Beverage) outlet (Restaurant, Banquet, room Srvice, Coffee Shop etc.). It helps them to understand Food Service & Beverage Service and their Menu offering in greater detail. Often concerning style of cooking, ingredient used, variations available, History of cuisine and beverages. In this department presentation skills, equipment used, set up of restaurant (outlet), planning amnpower, menu designing handling Bar operations for a core role to develop restaurant / outlet / catering managers/ owners of future.

Culinary / Kitchen Lab forms one the most known aspects of Hotel Management Schools. Students learn cookery, Bakery & Confectionery as a commercial trade and the basic operation fundamentals of running kitchen in high pressure commercial environment. Knowing their tools, team, ingredients, menu & costing becomes and integral to learning but not without high level of professionalism, discipline and code of conduct. Helping them to polish their skills to develop and deliver consistent quality products.

In Bakery students learn the basic of:

  • Bakery Products (Cakes, Breads, Pastries, Cookies etc.)
  • The science of all ingredients
  • The use of all equipment in Bakery
  • Traditional & modern products
  • Food safety & hygiene
